Hello members and others that participate in SLA events. I want to extend a question of dates that we need to avoid during our scheduling. Obviously there are so many events it's hard to work around all of them, but we like to accomidate as much as we can. The club committee meets during the week of Dec 15-19. And we would like to hammer out a tentative schedule that you can receive at the January Meeting.
Looking for a list of the events and dates of those events that are outside of our schedule and you would like to fish.

444 August 8th & 9th (our OFF-THE-WALLeye tournament runs on the same Saturday in conjunction with the 444).
We are looking at running a bigger Walleye tournament that will be open to non-members the same weekend as the Flatts Derby July 29th. Sort of like the Salmon Dance format, but with four Walleye.
Should the Bass Series extend out to October to open up a little more in the summer- hard to fit five tournaments in three months?

Hi Shane Please don't book any events on Saturday Sept 26 2009 as that is the date of the Niagara Bassmasters 11th Annual Help a Child Smile charity bass tournament. This event is always held the last saturday in Sept. Thanks, Pete

The Tentative 2009 Schedule is posted on the right column of the home page of www.straitlineanglers.com. We will review at the January Meeting. The OFF-THE-WALLeye tournament is still up for discussion with recent talks of the 444 moving it's date. Not sure what that date is and if the OFF-THE-WALLeye will continue to run on the Saturday with the tournament or if it will become it's own Walleye tournament - the sister to the Salmon Dance in format. Stay tuned, Shane

Hi Shane, Thanks for your message. You are correct; we're running the 444 in June, in response to feedback we've received from anglers. I've passed your message along to Chris MacEachern to respond with the details.
