Brian fished solo for one hour to test out his new graph. Set a line on a rigger 60 over 90 feet of water and the conditions were bumpy. NK Mag Purple Thunder. Straight off of Grimsby inside the weather marker.
I had to cancel his offer to go on the lake with him. But after hearing a winded cell phone call to help him decided to bring it in to weigh for the derby, I thought I show up and catch him at dockside. At 8:30 just after he tied the boat up, I took a few shots and Brian put it on a scale after the read out was bouncing around while out on the lake. On the digital it read steady at 26lbs 9 oz.
Drove down to Fisherman's Pier and arrived at 9:20 pm just before it closed at 9:30. Put it on the Derby scale and it read 26 lbs 7oz.
