Hi Everyone,
There have been two meetings in a row we have had difficulties matching schedules and without an organized format, but that will change coming the November meeting.
The November and December meeting will be the first Wednesday of the month, but will change back to the first Tuesday of the month starting in January 2011 (pending location of our meetings going forward). The Grimsby Conservation Club is now notified and will leave the November and December evenings available for us.
Next meeting requires your attendance and voting participation to allow the direction of the club to proceed into the next two year term. There have only been limited Nominations for positions and we encourage you to contact me or post to this thread if you have an interest in filling in a club officer position.
Officers are elected for a 2 year term starting January. The following officers are presently in the following positions and the expectation to run for that position for another term (two years) will be asked at the beginning of naming the nominees. If known I have added here
President: John Poirier (Not running for another term but will become Past President for tie breaker vote)
VP: Shane Thombs (Not running for another term)
VP: Gerald Koetsier (will run for another term)
VP: Brent Way (Not running for another term)
Treasurer: Roy Young (Not running for another term)
Secretary: void
Also for committee Chairpersons:
Wears Chairman: John Laythingy
Bass Tournament Chairperson: void
Salmon Dance Tournament Chairperson: Adrian Fleming
Feed the Fry Tournament Chairperson: Shane Thombs (will run for another term)
Known Nominations include:
For President: Needed
For VP: Mark Penner, Perry Poirier Jr, Gerald Koetsier
For Secretary: Shane Thombs
For Treasurer: Dave Viles

At the meeting we need to make our final vote that determines the future venue for the club. Our rental of the clubhouse will come due at the end of the year.
There are two options to vote on after sufficient time has been given to come up for other options. Unless there are any last minute options put forth before the meeting, we have these two options before us.
1.) Stay where we are under the current arrangement
Annual cost of $800
No Bar- no donation revenue from bar
Freedom to use the Projector screen and store trophies at clubhouse (for now)
2.) Grimsby Legion
No rental cost and the Legion is donating to the club a $500 donation.
Bar at the Legion - no revenue from bar
Unknown arrangement for projector screen and room layout
We are guests that will need to be flexible to Legion schedule and incoming rules.
There will be ballets made for this vote.
Please make the effort to attend the November meeting.
