Took my son Josh out to the blue zone today. Left port D at 5:00am and set up out front in the dark 65FOW and landed 2 shackers right away. The wind was not too bad so we packed up and headed straight towards the CN Tower till we hit 340FOW. We could not get all the rods set up because the fish were hitting faster than we could put them in. They hit on everything we put out. By 9:30am we went 18 for 21. On this trip my son caught his first Rainbow, chinook and coho. the salmon were 5 to 6 pounds but he did get a 12 pound bow that was caught on 5 colour lead fixed with spin doctor and fly. My son is 14 years old and would not hold onto the fish for a picture. he said he would not touch them until they come off the BBQ.
( Thank you Marty for a great day out there)
