One of my buddies from Saturday's Simcoe fishing trip fished the Binbrook derby with me Sunday and we had a blast. We were into the numbers but not quite the size we were looking for. My biggest crappie weighed in at .48. First was .74 Second can't remember and third was .62. It was a beautiful day to be on the ice. Great to see tons of kids having fun whether they were fishing or taking a long run to see how far they could slide along the ice.
The Ice News Derby will be held Feb. 21st. at Binbrook and I will be attending that one to.
The 2010 Ice News " Hard Water Challenge" will be moved to Binbrook Conservation Area the new date well be Sunday February 21 from 8 Am - 1Pm . The Heaviest Crappie wins !
BBQ Starts at 12:30 awards and draw prizes at 1:30 sharp. Tickets cost Adults $20.00 Kids under 16 $10.00 each and will be sold the morning of the event at the park. Please note park admission is extra. ;D
