My buddy and I hit Bayfront Sat. morning. Set up before daybreak and within minutes we were into the perch. Hundreds on the camera for at least 2-3 hours. Within the first half hour I had a largie through the hole weighing approx 2 lbs. 20 minutes later another approx 3.5 lbs. Right after that we had what I would guess to have been a 4.5- 5 lb largie starring at my minnow but would not hit. Next came the rainbows, 5 in all on the camera but no hits just curious fish. Around 10:30 I saw a large pike in the distance on the camera. I quickly pulled my perch jig up so I could drop my Swedish pimple and minnow down but I was to slow as he almost took Rob's rod out of his hand and down the hole. The fight was on and sadly we lost it in the hole. I figure it was around 26 inches. Shortly after that Rob pulled up a 12 inch perch. Fishing remained furious for us until around 1:30 then it slowed down. Between 3-4 we did not get a nibble or see anything on the camera. Around 4 it all started again. By the time we left at 5:00 we figure we caught 90+ perch as well as the 2 largies and the pike. It was an incredible day for us. I did get some photos but they turned out crappy as the shutter was fogged up. Dave
